Manx Osteopathic Clinic - StaffSarah Gartland BSc (Hons) Ost – Principal Registered Osteopath & Managing DirectorSarah graduated in 2002, and returned to her roots here on the Island as the Islands first and only Manx female osteopath and formed an extremely busy clinic on Douglas North Quay. Since then, she has managed to take the clinic from strength to strength, and, due to the success and demand of the clinic, moved to larger premises in March 2006, and set up a second satellite clinic in December 2006. Since qualifying, Sarah has undertaken a great many post graduate courses in both the paediatric and cranio-sacral aspects of osteopathic treatment. All of which training helped with the birth of her baby boy Kristian in September 2006. Sarah continues to combine being a mum and an osteopath, with working in our Glen Vine clinic on a part time basis (for now). Jason Newman BSc (Hons) Ost – Clinical Principal Osteopath (Douglas)Jason joined the clinic in April 2006, and runs our clinic in Douglas. Prior to becoming an Osteopath, Jason was a keen skier, football and rugby player. Since qualifying in 2003 He has also worked at and run successful clinics in the UK which dealt with numerous sports injuries from runners to football and rugby players to name but a few. Jason also worked as the Osteopath and touchline support for Hertford Town football club. This has provided Jason with a wealth of experience re sports injuries and treatment, along with a broad experience in treating any other musculo-skeletal complaint. |
